What I thought was most interesting about the CO2 article was that it is the number one reason for man-made climate change, yet it is also the world's most important fertilizer. It's important as a fertilizer for plants for photosynthesis to produce sugar and allowing the plants to grow. While doing this, plants absorb and bind carbon dioxide and produce oxygen (forests are important absorbers of CO2, they are "carbon sinks"). Yet, human's increase the CO2 levels by burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial production which are things that happen everyday. I think it is interesting that something that is so important to human survival can also possibly end human life and the world in the future.
